Google Earth - Mapping Dive Sites??

Couple of us were talking the other day to utilize Google Earth to map the dive sites on Long Island... Would it be possible?
*Google Earth is a free software that will let you explore the world right on your fingertip. If you do not know what Google Earth is, please visit HERE.

The answer is Yes.

After doing some research, we decided to put a placemark where we dive often locally. Our goal is to map them all so that we can share information with divers on Long Island and promote local diving.

Where do you dive on Long Island?
Where is your favorite spot?

E-MAIL AND HELP US create Long Island Dive Site Map for Google Earth.

We just need approximate location of your favorite dive site on Long Island other than Clarks Beach and Old Ponquogue Bridge, and name of a dive site. GPS location is helpful but not necessary. If you are a Google Earth user and know how to e-mail us the location, that would be fantastic!

We thought we are the only one... NOT! There is a veteran Google Earth user and avid SCUBA Diver who made this happen - not in a local scale, but in a global scale! This file contains 1101 dive sites around the world.
