BUMPER STICKER CONTEST Announced!

To celebrate the release of club website as well as our online store @ Cafepress.com, we are holding an ANNUAL BUMPER STICKER CONTEST!

The winner of this contest will receive a free annual membership (or renewal for the year of 2007), "I'm a Grouper" T-shirt of your size, and the winning bumper sticker sold on our online store.

Contest Rules:
- Must be a member of LI Groupers or Groupers' Wanna-Be
- Knows Diving on Long Island
- Phrase/Word must be related to SCUBA Diving
- Must fit in 10 x 3 bumper sticker
- No bad words...
- 1 submission per member (or wanna-be) please.
- Must be submitted by June 30, 2007

Online Store Released!

Yes... we had our apparel line for the shop, but was not for Groupers.

On Feb. 21st, we released our online Groupers' goods store on Cafepress.com - leading Custom Goods website. You can purchase our products from our Cafepress' Store and they'll send your order directly to you!

Our product line starts from Men's/Women's Apparel, Dog Apparel, Infant/Toddler Wear, Household Goods, Stationary etc. to list a few. The profit will goes to the maintenance of our new website as well as future guest speaking/club events.

Idea to Off-Season Activity...

As a off-season activity, some of the members of Groupers have been getting together for Indoor Rock Climbing on Wed-days (or Th-days) @ local indoor rock climbing gym, Island Rock in Plainview. Whether you just want to be around divers or to keep yourself fit, you are welcome to join us.

New to Rock Climbing? No problem. Our proud member, Gerry Barsky has been rock climbing instructor for years and teach you the basics of indoor climbing at free of charge.

This is an extension of ADK Long Island Activity, and we join variety of people through rock climbing.

The meeting is from 7pm on Wed-days (or Th-days) at Island Rock. You only pay for a small entrance fee (rental equipment included) to Island Rock.

**Diver & Climber Club is open to anyone - however, there may be days that instructors are not available to first time climbers. Please make sure to click on an event on our CALENDAR to see if you are qualified to attend on a particular day. All Diver & Climber Evenings require R.S.V.P. by an evening before via e-mail.
